Not only does the PWSB own a great deal of property in the Town of Scituate, they also heavily regulate what types of businesses can function within the town that may affect the quality of the water. They can at least pay their fair share in tax revenue.

The Town of Scituate gave more than enough to the rest of RI in the early 1900's when the reservoir was created. Do not take any more from

The property was taken once when the reservoir was built, this bill seems to now take it again in the form of revenue.

Since the reservoir is such a large portion of Scituate, making the PWSB tax exempt is unfair to the residents. Also, making the PWSB tax exempt, yet allowing them to continue to charge for our water is absurd.

NO "PILOT" pay outs, Providence Water Board, or whatever Name they chose to use is a Multi-billion dollar Business, which owns almost 50%of Out town, and we don't even get water to OUR RESIDENTS! They SHOULD BE PAYING TAXES just as Every other Business in Our town DOES.

Failing to include the community that houses the reservoir and whose residents have made nearly a century of sacrifices due to legal actions by the PWSB is reckless, improper and shows a continuing lack of respect for the host community of the reservoir.
