The Town of Scituate should have representation on any board dealing with the reservoir

This proposal is clearly unconstitutional and if passed, would fail to stand legal challenge. Save the state and the town the cost of litigation and kill the bill.

I don't trust Providence Water to do any "good faith" payments in lieu of a negotiated tax assessment, nor the commission sans a Scituate representative !

I oppose this bill for the lack of representation of a Scituate resident on the Board of Directors.

Providence should pay its taxes just like we have to and stop giving its taxe dollars away to people who do nothing for it.

The town of Scituate and a member of the town council MUST be part of any legislation or actions pertaining to the Scituate reservoir! Any boards authorized to conduct water supply/reservoir business must have a Scituate resident, preferably a council member, on that board to represent the tax paying Scituate residents. Moreover, I oppose this bill!

strongly oppose RI House Bill #H 6122 due to the exemption of PWSB land from local taxes. Due to the limitations the PWSB land imposes on the towns ability to raise taxes, we should have a significant say in the level of taxation for that land.

Taxes are to high, heavy burden on my wife and I. 5200.00 a year is ridiculous for our home, standard split level ranch small yard.

If Providence doesn't want to pay taxes tell them to move the reservoir to Providence so we can take our land back and build factories or other businesses that can help with the taxes in Scituate. Unfortunately we all have to pay taxes even Providence water

I am a lifelong resident of North Scituate. There was no one from Scituate on the board to represent my interests or the town's interests. The passage of this bill would be detrimental to myself and the town, and decrease Scituate's tax revenue. I oppose this bill.
