No more destruction of trees

Please leave the wetlands alone, not everything in Wasaga Beach needs to be developed!

As a long time resident of Simcoe County, I oppose this development and believe that protecting the forest / trails is the priority

Don’t ruin another peaceful place to build more houses

Having seen the disappearance of natural wildlife near our communities is disheartening. And, we do not have the infrastructure to sustain more housing. Did WB not just add Stayner to the water/waste water lines a few years ago? This is NOT a good idea.

Keep our kids safe and preserve our nature please

Too much congestion

This area is totally unsuitable for a high density development as outlined in this petition. School overload, traffic congestion, and safety of students are already key concerns in that area, not to mention the higher volume of traffic on Ramblewood when Costco opens. We need to preserve our trails in Wasaga Beach. Putting in high density housing in this section goes against all the reasons we advertise for people to live here.

The traffic on Ramblewood would be severely negatively impacted by this development. Very dangerous!

Please DO NOT consider approval of the proposed development at 58th St. And Ramblewood.

Please consider for the sake of the well-being of children in this community!

Way too much development happening in Wasaga Beach period. This area is a sanctuary for both animals and people and highly valued for that reason

The proposed development will not address our town’s need for affordable housing and will create further strain on our infrastructure, and will have a significant impact on the environment. St Noel’s population is expanding even with the new super school at the other end of town the congestion that is currently in place will be further increased by the building of Costco, and we have yet to see the impact that increased traffic and infrastructure will have on our community. I have lived in Wasaga Beach for over 50 years, our community needs a better plan. I purchased my home here because of its location and backing on to Litz Property no building would likely occur behind me. Our access to the Carly Patterson Trail, how will this be impacted? Im am not opposed to progress or adding residents to our town but we need to ensure that our access to services can also sustain this development which it can’t. I work in education and both of our boards will be impacted by the increased need. The project by the arena is at risk due to the boards capital projects likely being stalled due to the ministry taking over the school board to fix budget constraints when this happens all capital projects stop. Now where will everyone go. St Noel has over 600 schools using 1 school washroom for girls and 1 for boys. They do not have enough yard space to add more portables. Hope is that our concerns and opposition to this development will be noted and taken into consideration. Scheduling town meetings during our workday doesn’t help our ability to have our voices heard. High density housing on land that should be environmentally protected is wrong. Jobs will be outsourced to larger construction companies like JB, not local companies they can’t compete. Current projects should be finished first as we will not know the impact on our current infrastructure. How many traffic studies have been completed on Ramblewood? Clear it seems that our voices don’t matter

I grew up in Wasaga Beach during the 70’s and 80’s and am beyond disappointed of what it’s turned into. You take away any more of the natural beauty and you’ll have nothing special left. Just another overpopulated town about to become a city. Nothing unique about that.

Please stop eliminating trees in this town. We do not have the infrastructure for all of this development.

The traffic around the school, on Ramblewood, is already very dangerous for students and parents. The increase of traffic for access to Costco will already increase the risks for all. Destroying the woodlands will play havoc on the wildlife.

If there is "any" way possible to protect that green space from development our council should step up and do that !! Carly Patterson Trail is a beautiful tribute to a previous Mayor Cal Patterson's daughter, A lovely serene walk enjoyed by so many over the years. Walking past a wall of 3 story townhouses, right on that path, will definitely lose that effect. This trail is what makes Wasaga Beach special . This one trail is all that is left of what nature we used to have at this end of the beach. If there is a chance that this can be done ,,,, please do it !!!

Ramblewood, unlike Mosley, can never be widened, Come and see what happens here with the drop off and pick up of children at St. Noel. See the line up of cars sitting in the bike lane, which is supposed to be a safe zone. This is already a Ramblewood mistake that can never be corrected and is ignored by bi-law. Another mistake, like this development of high-density housing, right beside the school will cause, could never be corrected. 8 roads coming out onto Ramblewood in a 2 block area. What this plan proposes will definitely create traffic chaos !

Please reconsider this development. The congestion on Ramblewood is already extremely dangerous. On a daily basis we witness people speeding, blowing through stop signs, and not paying attention to pedestrians. I cannot count the number of times my children and I have nearly been hit while walking in our own neighborhood. As a parent, I already worry about my kids walking to school because drivers simply do not slow down or pay attention. Adding more homes would significantly increase traffic and make an already unsafe road even more dangerous. With the new Costco being built nearby, traffic is already expected to increase. Our community should not be forced to take on even more risk. The safety of the families and children who live here should be the priority. Please reconsider adding more housing on this road.
