​Opposition to Proposed Townhome Development on Ramblewood Drive

I wasn’t aware of this development plan when buying here last summer. It likely would have changed our decision to purchase a home near here.

I am Métis from region 7! Which is Wasaga each territory!! why have you not consulted regions of members regarding this?

Just stop destroying a beautiful space to line your own pocket it’s sad.

The mass housing development needs to slow down until infrastructure can support the growth.

The towns infrastructure needs to be addressed before any more development...period!

A high density development at this location is not a good idea. Pick up and drop off at SNC is already overly congested, and destroying that forested area is against what the existing residents want who use the trails on a daily basis. No zoning variances should be allowed, and this development should not be allowed to go forward for many reasons. There are plenty of other locations that could accomplish this type of development. Right beside SNC is not one of them.

I'm signing on behalf of my elderly parents who live on 58th st.

Between this proposed development and the new Costco at the end of Ramblewood, it is apparent that the safety and community of students of St. Noel Chabanel are an after thought to this town. This development must stop. And it has been said that the traffic test on Ramblewood for the Costco was conducted during August, the off season of the school. I am very interested to know who approved this plan under these kinds of errors.

Cannot believe the density of this proposal! Practically every development standard is being contested. Concrete jungle.

No more house bad

Too many townhome in on location. Would not look nice for the area.

This project is too congested ! Not a good fit for the peacefull area we live in !

We must protect the forest.

No more building until what is built is sold and occupied. It’s ridiculous!!!!

This blatant destruction of animal habitat in Wasaga Beach has got to stop! I wish to formally oppose this development of more unnecessary houses. Look at what happened with Ramblewood and now the forested area on Mosley Street near the Lorna Dune. All the animals that have been displaced by this senseless destruction of their habitat is shameful. Our air quality used to be upwards of 10% better than the bigger cities and now our air quality is on par with places like Toronto. Tell Doug Ford and his cronies to keep his hands off of the remaining ecosystems we have in Ontario and start developing the old factories/abandoned properties that are all over our province.

As a local resident affected by this potential BS development build!!!! I DONT APPROVE, APPRECIATE OR WANT IT NEXT DOOR TO ME!!! LITERALLY!!! STOP SELLING OUT WASAGA!!!!

I'm a parent of two young children who attend St. Noel and walking them to school is already a dangerous nightmare. I live on briarwood place and the amount of over flow traffic in the morning down our street is crazy let alone trying to safely cross onto ramblewood without a crossing guard. The traffic is high volume as is and very dangerous for children to be walking to school. I pray no further development happens because added traffic to me is a disaster waiting to happen.
