​Opposition to Proposed Townhome Development on Ramblewood Drive

Concerns because of school safety and traffic.

No more development!

Enough destruction of the natural landscape and habitat for wildlife!

Do NOT build on the Carly Patterson Trail! The kids at ST NOEL use that trail daily! Even in the winter!!

Please preserve our forests and other green spaces!

Enough building. Chopping down trees and building...As the song goes..."they paved paradise and put up a parking lot" Totally ruined Wasaga Beach..all for money!!

We don’t need more housing in wasaga beach

Enough is enough.

Traffic on Ramblewood because of Costco is going to be a nightmare, especially at beginning and end of school. The addition of 163 townhouses—at least that number of cars— is going to be extremely dangerous.

Hands off green spaces

The proposed development is far too dense for the neighbourhood.

It can’t happen. 58th Street is already a nightmare. It’s like a highway!

This absolutely should not be approved. Ridiculous. The traffic is already insane on ramblewood and the mature neighborhood does not need these townhouses. Build them out by the new schools

I live in Wasaga Beach and I do understand the residents concerns. I live off of Veteran's Way, and the water I look at it, is id this can happen on the west side of town, it could just as easily happen where I live. We don't need giant stackable townhouses. We need affordable homes-- apartment buildings that people can afford to live in. I think the mayor and council need to start listening to what the people of Wasaga Beach want. Not what the builders and rich developers want. The town houses on River Road east are in the $900, 000.00 range. People in Canada are having a hard enough time right now. We have to protect what surrounds Wasaga Beach and why people come here. The trails, the beaches, nature and if we keep building on top of wetlands you will destroy what most of us came here for.

Please stop cutting down our precious forests. The tree canopy is so important in these changing times along with the ecosystem that is supports.

Please leave us natural green space. We left Brampton to get away from overcrowding and congestion. We came here for the peace and quiet and friendly small town vibe. Don’t ruin this town

Please leave trees be! Do not turn Wasaga Beach in every other town

We don’t need high density in small towns

I wish you would personally come by the school for drop offs and pick ups and see the lack of stopping/parking never mind when Costco opens. I don’t have small children anymore but I would be terrified to allow this stupid development to go through. How many more new builds, that aren’t selling, look at Joanne crescent, do you need to build???

Way to congested, I moved to wasaga beach from Toronto to get out of the congestion and here ut starts again. What happens when the Costco opens up in this area?
