​Opposition to Proposed Townhome Development on Ramblewood Drive

Ramblewood is already a high traffic area. There are elementary school children that particularly need to be considered. The additional homes will only add to the traffic and we can only imagine how Costco will impact the area. I feel confident that if further studies are conducted and if common sense is used the only choice would be to leave this area alone.

please do not ruin our neighbourhood, this would be a disaster - only detached home can be built here. Definite NO for massive townhouse development in the area.

Open fields all around Wasaga and yet they are choosing to clear cut a beautiful nature trail where residents can walk, cycle and connect with the environment. This has to stop.

The traffic on Ramblewood is already heavy. The street is designated as a COLLECTOR which means it collects the traffic from the courts and cres along it and delivers them to a Main Street. It is not designed for major through traffic. The homes along Ramblewood are going to have great difficulty getting out of their driveway

No more high-density housing until our infrastructure can support it. Wasaga Walk already coming in which will be problematic enough, and you intend to add to that on an intersection that has some serious safety issues depending on the time of day?

Please please don't go ahead with this. Why are you allowing developers to increase lot coverage to 90%? We don' have the infrastructure for this. Very unhappy with how your selling wasaga beach my beautiful home out.

We have enough cookie cutter homes the ones in Stayner aren’t even over a few years and the concrete is already crumbling around the bricks and foundations. We have a water ban because we don’t have enough water infrastructure to support more homes. Also this is prime farm land should be kept for farming or wildlife we have enough homes here.

We oppose this development in wasaga Beach due to the high density and issues with traffic, pollution and impact on the wildlife and environment.

We have enough town houses. We can’t fill the ones that are already built. Traffic will be ridiculous down Ramblewood.

Get him gone

Leave this beautiful area alone. We don't need more housing. We don't need more traffic. We don't want any more problems then we already have.

Let’s sell all those sitting empty first. Enough destruction to wetlands and farmland

The town is literally destroying the nature that attracts people to the town. It ia not just about the beach, it is about the spectacular forests that we are blessed with but we are taking them down irresponsible. The absorb carbon, keep things cooler, provide habitat and are beautiful ro look at!

The environment is so important to a beach town like Wasaga. Leave the natural settings alone. There are other areas for building so hands off this beautiful part of nature's beauty.

As a resident of west end Wasaga I too am worried about the removal of all the trees. I do believe there are already unsold residential homes on Ramblewood. Enough is enough leave the trees alone.
