Population growth goes up and down in cycles. SJ will need this school again for young children born in the years to come. But how will we build another elementary school when all the land is sold to developers. Developers and real estate companies seem to own the City Council and the Mayor. their decision always benefits these election donors and NOT the resident/taxpayers of SJ. This school and its land MUST be preserved.

We wish to retain the quality of life that we have in our neighborhood and especially on Glider Drive were we moved to 17 years ago.

I can support this petition, but when another parcel tax rolls around to support children’s education, I hope that everyone who signs this will also vote for the tax. Our kids deserve it.

If zoning laws are going to be ignored why not build an airport at glider? What about a NASCAR racetrack?

This property doesn't fit the requirements for high density housing as defined by the planning department anyway as it is not close to any transit center.

Can’t they make a park or soccer fields for the area?

I support single family residential development with a small green space.

I support the neighborhood resident's position that the sale of the property for High Density Low income apartments is a bad policy and will result in a negative environment for everyone. Stop this disastrous idea .

please don’t sell glider for housing. this neighborhood cannot sustain such a huge impact. please sell to the city so they can open a community center for the aging population. the city representative said the population in this community is aging. it will fulfill the need of the community. or, the district office can move into glider and then school district can sell the district office.

Each district was to have 1 tiny home project! I’m Oak Grove we currently have 2! To put a 3rd would only overwhelm our schools and our neighborhood. It’s only fair that other districts and areas have their own tiny homes. This has not been thought out.

I oppose the sale of Glider property to build more tiny homes on. In Oak Grove we already have 2 other tiny home properties.

It’s definitely a burden for the people in this neighborhood. Please find alternate options for using this site. High density neighborhood in this area will drastically change the livelihoods of the people living here. One of the reason I bought house in this neighborhood is for piece and quite.
