Why do 6 people who do not live in this neighborhood have the ability to make a decision that will affect hundreds of people in a negative way. I did not purchase my home to have high density housing next door. I certainly would not have chosen this area if that was next door. Save our neighborhood!

This is something that is being proposed across the country. We need to save our neighborhood from these central planners that are not part of our community.

sell the district office property before selling any fill-in neighborhood school, and move the district office to a school property. The district office site is better suited for “high density housing” due to its location directly on Santa Teresa Blvd., proximity to the VTA light rail & bus station, and no shared fences with existing homes

Glider School property should not be used for density housing. It is not consistent with the neighborhood design, and will exacerbate the already problematic shortage of water in San Jose.

OGSD already has disrupted our children's lives by shutting down their school and now they want to disrupt the entire neighborhood. OGSD has done enough damage to our neighborhood. Please look into leasing options to a private school or other businesses, as parents were told would be the likely scenario when OGSD decided to close Glider. Certainly, we never were told that high density housing was an explored option at the time.

I object to high density housing in a residential area such as the Glider school area. This is a neighborhood of single family homes and parking is limited. Overcrowding will decrease the value of our homes and decrease our quality of life, with too many people too close together.

So why is Gov.Newsom giving away $50,000 to 15 lucky winners per person to bribe people to get their COVID-19 immunization? He should of only gave away $10,000 each for 30 lucky winners in and donated the rest to Gliden or Oakgrove School District to open up a STEMS ,CREATIVE ARTS , AND Journalism Daycare CENTER FOR KIDs. Just a thought.

Preserve school district property by renting not selling.

The Glider property is an inappropriate piece of land for high-density housing as proposed. The OGSD needs to prioritize the families and residents of their district and leave the Glider property as a future school or community space. Do not gamble with hundreds of families for your temporary financial gain. Sell the district office!
