Opposition to Lynch Canyon Greenmilk LLC Manufacturing, Processing, Testing, Cloning, Dispensary Industry

My wife and I are opposed to the manufacturing facility being proposed by Greenmilk LLC. Lynch Canyon road has always been open land, ranch and farming and a beautiful drive into our community with families and children. A commercial entity directly outside of our gate is definitely NOT in keeping with the area and we have serious concerns regarding water/emissions, both air and ground water/traffic/and visual esthetics of a commercial activity directly outside of our community. Poor judgement on Greenmilk for wasting so many man hours of our county representatives without first notifying the surrounding neighborhood of their true intentions. We and our county representatives must not allow this type of facility to invade our treasured rural lifestyle. Toni and John Watkins

This proposed development is too close to our community in Oak Shores. Despite being characterized as an "agriculture" operation, I've seen first hand cannabis operations like this become much more of an industrial/factory operation and destroys valuable open AG land. This should be stopped!

Cannabis next to a community with children and families that is gated to give people a protected environment is not proper. Water is also a serious concern - Cannabis requires a high consumption of water year around - more than all the families in Oak Shores combined . Electricity is huge consumption! The pollution from the plants and warehouse production does not belong in a quiet, nature driven community.

381/206 I oppose due to numerous concerning issues. One is the fact that the children of Oak Shores will be subjected to seeing a marijuana grow facility every time they come and go from our homes. We have one way in & one way out. We are left with no way to shield our children from this unnecessary evil.

A pot farm on Lynch Canyon will increase traffic on a road that is not designed for it and will attract unwanted attention and visitors.

I appose this development! We do not want this in our area! This will bring to much traffic and illegal activity, not to mention the environmental impacts associated with this type of cultivation!

I have been an owner in Oak Shores for over 40 years. Track 380 Lot 009. I am very concerned about the fire and safety risks associated with Cannabis Farms.

Do not allow a Cannabis Facility on Lynch Canyon

An enormous pot farm on both sides of the only ingress and egress to a thousand or more ranches and community members is outrageous. When entering the area, the greeting to our neighborhood is a pot farm, with the smell of pot and the criminal activities that follow drug operations. That is what we all would get to drive through. This shows complete disrespect for the neighbors from the developers and a lack of respect and judgement , if approved, for the commissioners. If approved there would obviously be litigation from many entities to stop the project. I'm sure this lack of judgement on the commissioners part would result in mass opponent fundraising next election cycle. The thought that a project like this could even be considered without an EIR and study on how it will impact the communities, fire fighting etc. is beyond comprehension and outrageous. The neighbors affected were not noticed nor was a fire study done. That is sheer negligence. A project like this has large electrical draws and a fire could block thousands of peoples egress result in mass death. Do we not learn from history. The chimney rock fire trapped residence in Christmas cove. The fire department had to set back fires on my ranch which burned 300 of my acreage and 1.2 miles of fencing. The key word for the commissioners is negligence. Your insurers should be put on notice now. Since you've been noticed, i believe you're required to notice them. Regarding property values, I believe a massive pot farm as an entrance to the communities and ranches beyond would be severely damaged. I have legal vacation rentals . that business would be destroyed and i would be looking for compensation for that damage. On a separate note: I am not against pot farms. I just believe they, like many other types of businesses, should be where they don't have a major negative impact on the communities. This is like putting a highly explosive chemical manufacturing plant, with a zero lot line setback, next to a mass

Seems to me they could put the grow business somewhere where there are not hundreds of people driving by with their children to the safe neighborhood of Oak Shores.

No pot farm by my home or my family's home. No increased traffic on our roads. No strangers looking for weed work. No on pot farm on lynch cyn.!!!!

Absolute fire hazard for entire area with only ONE road for Ingress and egress which would trap Oak Shores and residents living further down Lynch Canyon road, in their homes. This is a populated residential area , not suitable for large production grow houses. Also , we have a vacation rental on Lynch canyon rd. Disclosure on this would destroy not only our business, but those also in Oak. Shores .

I strongly oppose. The smell, heavy use of water, increased traffic,possible crime increase, light pollution etc...
