Opposition to Lynch Canyon Greenmilk LLC Manufacturing, Processing, Testing, Cloning, Dispensary Industry

As a teacher, I am very aware of the affects that marijuana and weed, might have on many students or adults. It is something that not only affects themselves or those around them. It allows for an unsafe community and opens up the area around Oak shores to more dangers and stupidity which worries me as my family and myself live in this community. In addition to that it is something that will “clog up” and make the area surrounding difficult and once again unsafe on the only route open for the people who reside in oak shores and surrounding areas.

I’m opposed to this sort of industry being so close to this community

I am opposed to the building of an 87,000+ sqft. Facility so close to our community with youth and elderly locked in behind it if there is an issue. As well as the negative impact this type of facility will cause on the wildlife and oak tree groves that have call that land home for so long … this land should continue to be held in trust solely for agriculture. Marijuana is not an agriculture crop. FInd other location that are not so close to a community that has no other entrance.

Oak Shores Community/ Lot 380-063 My husband Alan Stringer & I are strongly opposed to this Greenmilk, LLC Facility. We live in the Country for many reasons, the peace & quite, the low traffic, the beauty of all the Oak Trees & the Wild Life (dear, turkey’s, pigs, eagles). We love nature, please protect our environment & water supply for our residents by Stopping this Proposed Greenmilk, LLC Cannibas Development.

I strongly oppose this proposal for every one of the reasons presented--especially the impact on water usage and the environment.

Honorable SLO County Supervisors, please reject this appeal. Our Oak Shores Comunity is adjacent to this proposed 87 K sq ft eyesore which is both out of character and out of place near our community. We have very limited law enforcement coverage available to us, we certainly do not need to attract any bad actors that could jepoardize our safety and fear our personal safety could be jeopardized as a result of this operation being in existence here on Lynch Canyon. Preserve our community with a denial of this appeal, we are counting on you.

My property is located near the proposed cannabis development at 2667 Tree Trap road, Oak Shores . Also have a large property located adjacent to the proposed canabis development at apn # 080-073-010 Tierra Redonda Road, Bradley Ca.

I strongly oppose this facility not only for its abuse of water rights and the loss of hundreds of trees it just doesn't fit in with the community.

I am extremely concerned with this proposal, water supply, wildlife habitat, and plain health issues surrounding this decision ongoing. I am against this plan.

Definitely in opposition to the location of this facility and the negative effects of the surrounding properties and homeowners.

This is in protest to the appeal of the Greenmilk LLC manufacturing, processing, testing, cloning dispensary. We need to protect our environment and water sources for residents.

I strongly oppose this facility.

We recently learned of an extremely large, proposed cannabis grow/production industrial facility that Greenmilk LLC is trying to get approved through an appeal to the board of supervisors via a vote despite being denied in a unanimous - five to zero vote in opposition of the cannabis facility- by the planning commission in 2021. There are several reasons why my family and I oppose the approval of this cannabis facility which include legal, environmental, and human/social/safety impacts this will have. There are several legal issues. The proposed site is on land that is included in the Williamson land act. Cannabis growing, production, and processing facility etc. is prohibited in this Williamson act. An enormous cannabis production facility is also incompatible with the Williamson act and the entire surrounding area. I further find it unethical that some of the supervisors that will be voting on this may have received cannabis donations for their elections. In any other business environment, this is considered a conflict of interest. Therefore, those council members should recuse themselves from voting. There are several claims in the appeal that are false. See Inland Appeal form 4/21/21 notes below. Number 5 notes that “the proposed will fit within the surroundings”. I find it hard to fathom anyone could claim that an 87,000 sq ft commercial building, the size of a football field and soaring 30’ tall, could FIT in the natural surroundings of oak trees and brush. There are several environmental issues with this proposed facility. 1) significant water will be used in any already draught ridden area. If Greenmilk builds the well and uses the water from the natural spring that is on the property, they will essentially be depleting the water table and stealing water from the neighbors and others. I do not approve of this development nor do I consent to the repercussions it will cause my community

A DANGEROUS location ---WATER USAGE, AND WILDLIFE , FIRE, HEALTH & CRIMINAL SAFETY is at risk that the supervisors would be accountable if this issue is not stopped now. PLUS property is under the Williamson Ag Act which does NOT allow the project.

I am vigorously opposed to this facility. The proposed use will utilize an excessive amount of water in addition to adding a huge load to the electrical grid in the area which already suffers from frequent power failures.
