Opposition to Forsyth County BOE Proposed Public Participation Rules

Transparency and accountability are important.

Starting to feel like Cuba!!

I agree with this petition.

These rules are vague and prone to abuse. They are offensive and hateful to many parents and families of Forsyth County.

Freedom of speech for all

BOE are employed by the people! Your bosses, we the people, have every right to discuss with you the job you are or are not doing!

If the board members don't want to hear from the parents, they need to resign. Trying to brush parents off to a principle is not the solution. The board sets the policy for Forsyth County Schools and should hear directly from parents. They should welcome it.

Vague and subjective language in the proposed changes should be clarified. At the very least, a glossary of terms should exist to further clarify, the proposed changes. In addition, BOE members should have to answer questions that are posed to them as long as the time limit is not exceeded. Too many have been ignored, and too many questions have gone unanswered for too long. The BOE members & the Superintendent should be accountable for their actions. They have been protected by these policies.

Remember, the Board is elected by the residence, the residence have all the rights to know what the future of their kids will be at our school without with holding any information from their parents. Transparency is ALWAYS the best policy.

It is unbelievable that you would try to censor parents after already losing in court.

I vehemently oppose these proposed public participation rules. It’s easy to see where you want to go with this. We will not stop fighting for good vs. evil. We will win.

Keep the trash out of our school libraries.

Please always maintain an “open door and transparency” policy with the public, the parents and grandparents of the children that we all have been entrusted with to raise. You are only appointed/elected to be our assisters in the upbringing of our children. You are not ever to become the substitute. Thank you to those who have our student’s best interest at heart. The future of our country lies in the brilliant brains and the hearts of this upcoming generation. Train them up wisely for all future generations to come and for God’s glory!

Codes, rules, regulations, policy and statutes are “not the law”. [Self v. Rhay, 61 Wn (2d) 261] Legislated statutes enforced upon the people in the name of law are fraud. Lawmakers are given authority by the people to legislate codes, rules, regulations and statutes which are policies, procedures, and “law” to control the behavior of bureaucrats, elected and appointed officials, municipalities and agencies but were never given authority to control the behavior of the people. Per [Rodriques v. Ray Donavan (U.S. Department of Labor) 769 F. 2d 1344, 1348 (1985)] ⁃ All codes, rules, and regulations are for government authorities only, not human/creators in accordance with God’s laws. All codes, rules, and regulations are unconstitutional and lacking due process… ⁃ All laws, rules and practices which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void. [Marbury v. Madison, 5th US (2 Cranch) 137. 174, 176, (1803) ⁃ Marbury vs. Madison, 1803 says: "Any statute that bears the appearance of law that does not support the Constitution is null and void." United States Code of Military Justice June 30, 1775. United States Constitution. September 17, 1787 ⁃ Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be No Rule Making or legislation which would abrogate them. [Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436, 491]

Please listen to parents and be open minded to their concerns
