Opposition to Escalating Rate Increases by Tampa Electric Company (TECO)

We are a senior household and cannot afford increasing rates.

Desantis sold out the Tampa Residents and has allowed TECO to raise our rates over 3 times in the last 4 years. They must be stopped. These selfish politicians who only care about getting rich should be arrested for dereliction of duty.

1500 sf home with updated windows/doors electric in Feb was over $300? Air conditioning was not running as it was cool. Unacceptable!!!

It’s beyond outrageous, it’s criminal at this point. This is what happens when you have the monopoly on a marketplace.

It’s against our constitution amendment right 4 why do we have to pay a hundred dollars to opt out of a smart meter corrupt stop over charging

My Teco electric bill has increased 40% in 3 years that’s an average of over 13% per year this is not sustainable !

Agree with the petition. Since TECO and other energy companies were given the luxury of monopoly so there is no competition and prices are kept at bay, they should stick to those guidelines and keep affordable pricing for energy for all.

Signing the bill because paying for power has gotten out of control.

OUR TECO BILL WAS OVER $700. WE DO NOT RUN THE AIR ALOT AND EVEN HAVE A SECTION OF THE HOUSE THAT RARELY RUN! IS DUKE CAUSING THIS??!!
