TECO is price gouging. My husband has a 2nd house 2 counties over in Zephyrhills and their electric bills with WREC, which is a co-op, are 1/3 of TECO. TECO has a monopoly in Tampa and seem to have bought off and control the board which controls how often they can raise rates. They are both corrupt and we're the ones who suffer. I'm to the point I won't vote for anyone who doesn't advocate for lost taxes, lower insurance rates and lower power rates. These crooks are eating us alive.

Seniors are on a fixed income and can't afford rising electric. Most can barely afford groceries and gas hikes. Stop the rich from robbing from us all.

We keep our home at 79 degrees during the day and 75 at night. Our last two electric bills have been $700+. Friends with similar homes and lifestyles in St John are receiving bills for under $200. This is not sustainable.

My costs have more than doubled in the last 2 years. I used to pay on average between $500-$600 per month and I just opened this month to $1,138.52. I simply cant afford it.

Because it’s getting to the fact that we have to pick between electricity or rent! It’s getting to the fact that the bills are almost matching our rent prices! The fact that Canada controls most of our electric grade anyways and we’re paying these outstanding rates to our local companies is ridiculous! Our country isn’t for us! They just want to get rich off of the backs of hard workers!

Teco is out of control. We have been in our house for 29 years and despite all our efforts-including lowering usage-the bill just keeps climbing-crickets from our elected officials and stupid videos from Teco telling us to conserve.They are screwing us and it needs to stop.

Bills are out if control and keep climbing. My bill is almost double what it was when I bought my house in 2021. Something needs to be fixed!

Its insane how no matter how much you try to save on energy these teco bills are unpredictable. I was away 2 weeks out of a month and my bill come back way above the average of what I usually pay. Unexplainable!!!! And to add when you call TECO they are not much help

I am an unemployed educator who has been job hunting for a while now it's very sad to learn that there are ghost teachers who are falsely employed where as our kids are in need of teachers in schools corruption is extremely high in South Africa but enough is enough
