This has the potential to impact the safety of young college students and have a negative influence on young adults. The students are temporary residents of the area and have vetted the university and this was not something students needed to consider. Now it could be thrown on them with no choice for them to evaluate their concerns.

Do not open a drug rhab or clinic near schools and single residential zoned society hills iii. ... it is illegal and not safe or zoned for that!!!!!!

This is not the place for the type of program this church is proposing, it's seemingly desperate on the church and the City of Newark end of the business. How many people attend this church, I've walked over here on Sunday mornings and it's not well attended, so this seems like the wrong play for parishioners.

The reason I am against this type of drug treatment because they do not know the level of addiction that they will be dealing with in this environment. Another reason is there is a daycare facility a couple of feet away plus we have young students and college students housing and many seniors that live in the community and several on cornerstone ln that will feel endangered to walk and enjoy the area.

I am definitely against this project how can you place a drug intervention program here and have no professional certified counselors yes faith changes things but faith without works is dead

This facility is inappropriate in residential areas. Downtown, Frelinghysen Avenue, more commercial/industrial zones are more appropriate, and will provide better access via public transportation which may remove an obstacle to treatment.

Definitely against the center. The church should be relocated as it brings unwanted traffic and cars overflowing on the association property, often blocking out street access

The community would be better served if a senior citizen center or a daycare center for children existed at this site. Unfortunately, drugs are already within walking distance of this community, making it easier for addicts to not only travel to the church but stay as long as they like after hours. Yes, drug addiction exists, and yes an addict deserves a second chance, but there are currently too many facilities currently operating in the city that would welcome additional assistance.

Opposing the Proposed Drug Treatment Clinic at Warren Street. I’ve never seen this been a good thing in the neighborhood. Especially with a community consisting of a lot of elders and school kids. STRONGLY OPPOSE!!!!
