Overdevelopment in Irmo, Ballentine and Chapin continues with no concerns for infrastructure, the environment and for the current residents. Signing this petition try and stop the uncontrolled growth.

A strong planning and development process should take place prior to permitting developing in already congested areas located near a waterway - developers should assume more of the burden their projects impose on local governments through payment for the construction of access roads, sidewalks, appropriate lighting, green corridors between homes and roads, and functional storm water management systems.

There is enough traffic in Dutch Fork Road. No more new neighborhood developments until traffic has been considered and Dutch Fork Road/76 has been widened to 4 lanes plus a center turn lane.

In agreement with petition. It is against the law to desecrate a grave.

This would cause even more horrible traffic then what we already have. And how is it even allowed to build on an existing cemetery?

We need infrastructure first and foremost! The roads around here are a death trap! People over profit!!!!!!!

We live on Island Trail. Having all traffic from the proposed subdivision empty onto our small street would be disruptive. Flooding is also a concern if they build up the property for development.

The only access to the development would be from Island Trail and would cause traffic problems for those of us that live directly across from the proposed access.

Roads, sewer, schools and infrastructure cannot handle the addition of this neighborhood. Proper planning needs to be in place for growth before additional neighborhoods are built.

Stupid idea. Build better/more roads to access the highway. We can't have more people live here if it takes 45 minutes to get from Indian Fork Road to the highway with traffic

Definitely an infrastructure problem…area overcrowded!
