This’s very ridiculous. The purpose is to keep young professionals and students away from Lowell. I am against this proposal.

If this bill pass, it will increase the living expenses of a lot of UMASS students. They make the school nearby area more safer, why should they are punished?

Why does government need to control everything? It's same as China that government requests every resident must register at local police office.

City cannot devalue property in such a manner as this. Is this to be enforced in all parts of the city ?
Is this measure targeting one group ? Don't we have existing ordinances for health and parking ?
One or two persons per bedroom, living within sanitary conditions is the norm, and the right to use ones home in such a manner cannot and must not be taken away. Such a capricious attempt to do so will undoubtedly be met with pause at the city solicitors desk, and will never get past the state attorney general. Does the city really want to try this ? Not a good idea
