Opposition to City of Lowell Zoning Ordinance

This law is absolutely ridiculous. Can’t live with friends in college together.

If this ordinance goes through it will stunt the growth of Lowell and set back all the hard work and revitalization of the city’s over the past 20+ years.

Couples do share and this would eliminate the communal housing styles beginning to emerge in high pressure areas. Communal kitchens and living spaces but always private bedrooms and sometimes baths. Efficient and cost effective for young professionals, students, empty nesters and the highly mobile technical skills worker.

I think the law would be unfair to young couples and young adults who are just trying to survive.

This is government going to far, it is not their business who lives in the apartment and what their relationship is to each other.
