We are ranchers out here, raising cattle, horses and many other farm animals, let’s keep it that way. There are not many ranchers or open land left , let’s preserve what we do have.

I adamantly opposed to the proposed Cannabis Facility on 4150 North Ryan Rd. in Creston. Please do not let the tax revenue outweigh common sense and ruin our community and our county. It is up to you to stop this and, as our elected officials, we are counting on you to think of the good of all citizens with in your jurisdiction, and not the greed of a few.

Please decide in favor of people who already live & farn there over a new controversial cannabis project. Please consider the very real water shortage we have here & the HUGE amount of water they will use for this cannabis project. Please consider the quality of life of the humans that call this neighborhood home. Please preserve the quality of life, health & safety of this existing neighborhood.

Outdoor grow = skunk odor drifting off site; 4' barbed wire is cattle fencing, not security fencing;; manufacturing (processing) a commercial business in a rural farm area; increased traffic on already rutted DG road; is water usage mitigated? what has been learned from Santa Barbara County?

I urge you to deny this application. The project is completely incompatible with our community, will deplete already-endangered water supplies, and bring noise, odor and crime to our little town. NO!

Planning Commissioners:
VOTE NO on DRC2020-00115.
We, the residents of Creston urge you to deny this application. We LIVE HERE! This is not a wasteland for commercial cannabis factories to crowd in and destroy our beautiful community. Place these industrialized projects where they belong, next to other factories in commercial/industrial zoning, NOT NEXT TO OUR HOMES .

This is a close-knit family oriented rural bedroom community. Cannabis clearly does not belong here.

Creston California is a farming and ranch town with outstanding citizens. Creston helps provide for the community. It is a safe place to raise children.
Allowing a Cannabis facility does not provide health and safety for the community and our families. This will cause unnecessary traffic and attract the wrong people to the community. I am against this cannabis facility in our safe town of Creston California

Clearly not a fan of a project of this size and kind in my back yard, heavily utilizing an easement half on my property. The intended use of the easement clearly did not have a project of this size and type in mind when it was granted by us.

I agree with my neighbors that this is a manufacturing enterprise that is not compatible with rural homes and farms.

Our community is not prepared for any cannabas facility such as this one. Our area is quaint and clean air quality. We are surrounded with vineyards and tasting rooms and the smell and taint to the grapes will ruin grape sales and other business.

We don't need this kind of business in our rural little town. It's not what our town believes in.
