It is disappointing to see that Eastleigh ate planning Car dealerships and fast food chains when so much more could be done for the community. It feels like it is just a way to make a quick buck and the long term effect on Eastleigh and Chandlers Fords' youths' health has not been taken into consideration. A very poor proposal based on greed. Debbie Williams

It's time we gave back to the community not sucked the soul out if it even further with a rutheless profit based corporation with a business model based solely on greed and making people die young

We have a McDonalds in Eastleigh and more coffee shops than we need. We do not need anymore. Traffic is already awful on Leigh Road, and Eastleigh comes to a standstill if there is an accident on motorway. Going ahead and agreeing with this proposal is ridiculous.

This would have been a good place for Fleming Park to extend into.. This was the last article in the echo... (Which shows a new car show room/ office space/ mechanics/ McDonald's and Starbucks) http://m.dailyecho.co.uk/news/13843650.Project_promises_300_jobs_but_residents_fear_noise_and_traffic_from_24_hour_drive_thru/

I think this will encourage more obesity , our children in schools already have to endure having their weight monitored why not put something that will promote healthy living!! Stop encouraging bad habits!!

Yet ANOTHER coffee shop. Yet ANOTHER place to eat (if indeed you can call McDonalds products edible). Councillors get a grip please. Just about anything is preferable to this

Eastleigh Parkside Nature Project is just next door to this proposal from McDonalds.....Imagine the litter that will be created In this area.....Bad Idea!
