I can completely agree with your post, the roads already struggle with the volume of traffic as it is it takes me 20 mins to get through Leigh road upto Bournemouth road and that will only increase with a junk food restaurant put right on that junction,it will increase child obesity the school children and there parents will get in the habit of saying oh grab a burger on your way home it's encouraging laziness and unhealthy eating.there is a McDonald's already in Eastleigh it doesn't need another one situated on Leigh road.

We don't need another junk food outlet. At a busy road junction is ridiculous.

This country is obsessed with money and will allow anyone who appears to be introducing this aspect to the scenario to open up. We all know there will be backhanders to someone who allows them access.

We don't need another fast food place in Eastleigh. There are too many already. We complain the country is over weight. How about some sort of recreation place for young people and elderly people? Maybe even a place for homeless people to shower and get a hot meal? The area is big enough to be a homeless hostel or homes for single, childless people who are not eligible for housing! In other words anything but a fast food place......

I have stood for Eastleigh Borough Council in Eastleigh South ward for the last two years running. On both occasions I have almost won the seat. My vote has been split by the Tory Candidate who can never win South ward. Keeping me from punching a hole in LibDem armour and beginning their demise. If I had won my last election, I would be sitting on ELAC now fiercely representing the local people and opposing this outragious LibDem / McDonald's scheme Jim Saunders

Stop over development and Eastleigh Council putting profit before people. The rubbish and increased traffic not wanted by local residents.

This is not what eastleigh needs. We should be looking to bring in more people and I think it would be contradictory to the leisure centre opposite. Why not bring an indoor sky diving or something fun for eastleigh residents to enjoy?

These chains will certainly harm the new community cafe just opened at Pavilion on the Park. The community cafe is a project supported by Eastleigh Borough Council so I am surprised that the council would support commercial competitors on our door step.
