They should let us go out eat because they told us we are scholars and leaders so they should trust us more and let us eat outside and all those parents who don't allow their children to eat outside they should write a letter to the school and make sure that they do not leave the school and go out and eat. I don't think it is fair for those whose parents allows the kid to go out eat and you guys said that you guys are helping us to save money I don't think so if the kid doesn't like the food in school that is not delicious and is served in small servings and they starve themselves in school and go for CCA and during the cca like sports or uniform group they are gonna get sick and have not enough energy to perform the activities. and anyways after school they have 1-2h so they could go outside and eat so I don't think I will be helping us save money so I hope u will change the school rules and listen to all these people who took time and write out all their comments on this new rule

hi!! this is a zhonghua senior here and to be honest I feel that this rule is a little too much because as far as I know, the 4 years that I've been in Zhonghua, there were little problems of us going to opposite to eat or Nex when we have enough time and not making to class back in time. I believe that this choice should be up to the students, and like some said, it is ridiculous for 1000 students to fit in a canteen with only so little time to eat! please reconsider, don't want to see my juniors unhappy :(

Okay so our school doesn't really understand the fact that their policies and rules don't really work on us anymore.
Zhonghua has a long history, its an old school and has a lot of values
Those are great BUT when it comes to the way the school handles students it gets out of hand
Every morning during assembly I always see students getting screamed at, WE would always be yelled at, and they seem to be very keen on the "stay back for recess until you learn to behave" punishment.
Although it struck fear in our hearts such that we don't do anything bad, it brought a lot of negativity in our school atmosphere too, we feel pressured and uncomfortable everytime.
These rules and punishments may have worked in the past, but now perceptions have changed, these things are less effective. And the school should adapt to these perceptions.

it should be free for zhonghua students to eat outside school grounds if they are able to return at the appropriate timing to attend their after school curriculum. if the school is afraid that students would not be able to attend lessons on time, they should have the right to take this privilege away from students that are not worthy. students should be able to manage their time well and this is a good practise for them. if st

An ex-student here and I heard that the trigger point is that parents do not know where their kids are. For that, I feel that there is a better way in solving this issue - like for example, making the students write down their name when they go out of school for lunch so as to track whether or not they will be coming back. This will be so much better than making EVERYONE (who not necessarily have their parents worry about their whereabouts) to stay in school for lunch.

Oi hello zhonghua. you say u alot of food variety la, but pls, we stayback like at least twice a week and recess we also buy food from canteen. every week buy different food from different store 1 month eat everything at least twice or even thrice. not like u ppl got 20-30 stalls la let us go out for more variety

The students should be given choice of lunch places. The variety of food is important. Imagine we eat in at school canteen for four years? Please do reconsiders.
