Too many units, non affordable units, tho windows are not required per regulations due to sprinkler system ~ most deaths are from smoke inhalation of toxins ~ a window would allow fresh air ~ sprinklers don’t stop smoke !

Glastonbury is soon going to be just like every other high priced town in CT. Going are the beautiful farms, open spaces and the quaint downtown, some of the reasons we moved here. It’s a shame.

This proposal does not offer anything positive to the neighborhood/historic district, as it stands now.

This building has no redeeming architectural value. It is only a pawn to take advantage of good intentions to conserve worthy architecture to make a profit at the cost of the neighborhood ambiance.
Design intentions for parking might look plausible on blueprints when tenants obey the regulations, but that reality would test them having to use tandem parking and fighting for so few guest spots. These conditions will most likely force vehicles beyond the boundaries of the property.

Too many units for space. Too little parking for space

Not appropriate for the area. Way too many units in such a small space. And will have a horrible impact on Hubbard Green and the area in general. I vote no!

My property is right next to 38 Hubbard street. I am at 50 hubbard street.
I feel that 31 condo units is too many for about one acer of land.

Please consider all of us that use The Green. This includes the safety of the older people who cross Hubbard at Loft St., the GHS students that cross Hubbard and run along The Green for club sports, all the bikers, and the families who play there. This is a very active area for town residents. Please keep our safety in mind.

Work within the existing zoning laws, be consistent with what is already established in the neighborhood. Be more considerate of the seniors @ Knox Lane.

The proposed condos will obviously end up as a slum which the neighborhood doesn’t need.

Parking for 31 condos will be an ongoing problem that will negatively impact the Green across the street. The increased traffic in & out of the property will cause increased congestion at the Main St. & Hubbard corner that is already a problem.

Please don't let this project pass. Why would anyone want a bedroom without a window? How will such a small parcel of land support this large of a living community?

Building/land suitable for something other than condo’s.

As a neighbor directly next door I would like to see a much smaller development the space is not large enough for the proposed project.
