Over 2,000 scientific studies published in recent years have demonstrated widespread, serious negative health effects of wireless technology EMF and non-iodizing radiation. The biggest risks occur from cell phone towers less than 1/4th of a mile from schools and homes. Children are most vulnerable to these risks including increased risk of cancer and tumor development, neurological damage, cellular DNA damage, reproductive damage, and many more serious adverse health effects. The residents of Stuart Hall, Chilesburg and parents of EJH snd BCE children strongly oppose the construction of this tower in close proximity to the schools. We are asking the city council to require the applicant to move the site of the tower as far away from the schools as possible.
