Yule is also a name for the holiday season, and therefor any use of it in conversation would be subject to trademark.

Allowing one business to steal such a word as Yule, which is held in such common usage, would have a horrendous fiscal impact upon numerous businesses.

No one should own the name of a holiday for profit or corporate use.

I don't have a comment except to say that i think this is ridiculous (not the petition, but the idea of putting a trademark on the word Yule).

Yule isn't just used to describe a certain set of scents or fragrances it's a holiday celebrated by millions of people around the world. This is an infringement on the rightable of freedom of religion. If it's copyrighted how are we to know that we won'the be sued for following our religious beliefs.

Jesus "wild-hunting" Krist. I can't believe this petition has to exist.

Yule is a holiday. Would you allow someone to trademark "Easter" or "Christmas"? Leave the word alone.

Yule is a holiday that has been celebrated for centuries in many forms. It is a term widely used throughout the pagan community. Trademarking Yule would be the equivalent of a person trademarking Christmas.

This is too common a word to trade mark. It would adversely affect many many private craftsmen and women.

If this application goes through hundreds of pagan businesses will be forced to take products named "Yule" off their shelves and could go out of business! Yule belongs to EVERYONE.

Yule is a holiday for many around the world. Trademarking it would as bad as trademarking the word "Christmas". This is offensive to millions around the world and should be considered in regards to how detrimental this trademark would be to others.

Yule is a term used by a multitude of people in a variety of ways. Some of us use it in connection to religious celebrations. Please decline this application.
