Our community is strongly against the plan to ruin the park. Placing such construction there will be of major disturbance to our neighborhood for obvious reasons. Please listen to our voices and reconsider!

We do not want water reservoir in such a close proximity to our house. Please do not build it at our park! There are plenty of other spaces where is can be build. We do not want it so close to our houses! Thank you or understanding us and valuing and hearing our voices!

There are a lot of voters in our community. Please reconsider putting this eye soar in our park. Your votes may depend on us.

This water tank will lower the value of our homes, it will be a major eye soar next to our small park and is literally 200 feet from the front door of many homes in our community. We all know you have other options that will not affect the value of peoples homes. During these pandemic times with so many unemployed, would you consider lowering the value of their homes too?

We are a small community with a small park. This water tank will literally be across the street (200') from many homes which will reduce their home values and look horrible next to our park. We already have high power lines affecting us. Please do not make it worse.

My granddaughter enjoys going to the park and loves the natural landscape of the area. Please consider the needs of a young child who should enjoy the park as-is. The building of a reservoir is not appropriate in this area. We adamantly oppose this.

We respectfully request the Lake County Board eliminate Carriage Green Park on Grosse Pointe Circle as a location for a water reservoir and booster pump station.

This reservoir will ruin our already small park space and our wonderful mature trees and habitat!

There are other appropriate places in Vernon Hills for this reservoir. Carriage Green park is our front yard, nobody would put a water reservoir in their front yard.

I believe that the location of a large concrete water reservoir and a 50’ x 35’ booster pump station in a park is not appropriate.

There are other sites that could be used. I oppose the building of the watershed in the park.

This location for reservoir and pump is not good as it is right in the middle of a residential community.

I support my Association and the residents of my community in protesting the construction of this reservoir. There is already a Public Works facility across from my residence. The reservoir will be too huge for the area involved. interesting that the reservoir is at the edge of Gregg's Landing next to commercial buildings. Our children have very little park to play in as it is, don't destroy what little park space we have!!!

I am very dismayed that my neighbors and I are finding ourselves having to revisit this issue, which was reviewed and decided 2 years ago. In 2018, Chair Aaron Lawlor vetted this site, spoke with residents and determined that it was unsuitable for this water reservoir. He made a commitment to us in writing, stating that this site would no longer be considered for this reservoir. In addition to the valid concerns already addressed about the small size of our park, the negative environmental impact, and the detraction from the aesthetics of the area, I want to add two things. First, anyone who knows this property and piece of land knows that it is already surrounded and hemmed in by restaurants and a large extended care facility. To cram this large structure into the last remaining piece of open land near the Carriages is unacceptable and contrary to any definition of an “open land” policy. Second, trust in community leadership and the ability to rely upon the commitments made to residents of Lake County by our leaders, past and present, is vital to the ongoing goodwill and cooperation between us. Chairman Lawlor gave us his word and we placed our trust in his commitment to us. I ask you to consider what it will mean to us, residents and voters, to you and to your successors, if this and other such commitments are now breached. Will you maintain and build upon that trust and goodwill with us or will you choose to destroy it by ignoring the commitment that was made in 2018?
