The park is too small to house the reservoir. It’s will devalue our property values. Please find another location.

I vehemently oppose this proposal as it will significantly reduce quality of life including safety of residents in the nearby area.

I recommend locating the water pump in one of the empty retail spaces; they need to be repurposed anyway, so why not use one of these? I agree with the other petitioners that we need to preserve beautiful natural spaces like this park, so that the many local pedestrians (who pay taxes and can vote) can continue to enjoy it.

There are other locations( office parks, industry parks, ) where this would not impact a beautiful park that is shared by many healthy initiatives of walkers, joggers, walking paths connect to neighboring communities, as well as many dogs and families. The children in the area need a place to catch some outside time safely.

Please don't destroy our park and reconsider to find another location. I am strongly against this idea and feel like Carriage Green Park would not be best location.

Please think about this! And re-think the location. Thank you.

More suitable non-residential properties for the site of this water reservoir and pumping stations are available. It is apparent that Lake County decision makers have not visited our property before deciding on the Carriage Green site. If they had, they would have seen that the reservoir and pumping station will be built within yards of the front doors of Lake County resident/taxpayer homes. This is not the case for any of the other proposed sites

Really, this park is a small jewel. I love knowing a short walk will take me to a bit of nature with mature trees, birds such as song sparrows, red-winged blackbirds, the occasional American falcon, and butterflies. Taking a chunk of this already small park is not a wise use of the land and would devalue the properties near it.

I walk in this neighborhood and park every day and enjoy the peace and the abundant trees, birds and butterflies. The reservoir would ruin this local sanctuary.

The proposal to co-opt this open space for the reservoir is an outrageously bad idea. The park, neighboring residential properties and Vernon Hills will be irreparably harmed if this proceeds. Do not put this reservoir in this small linear park that is so valuable to our environment.

Move your proposal to a place far removed from inhabited area. This area is heavily trafficked by walkers/runners/dog walkers and children. We do not need this intrusion into our neighborhood.

I successfully fought this during my time as Lake County Board Chairman and the County Board Member for Vernon Hills. It’s upsetting that after I left the proposal is back on the table.

I live in this neighborhood and I don't want my property value to go down with this thing in the neighborhood.

We love our tiny park. Please put it somewhere else.
