I'm tired of the big businesses trademarking common words, just to hurt small businesses like me

Yule is a holiday and widely used term. It is unfair to allow one person to trademark such a term.

No one should be able to trademark the name of a holiday.

No this would be grossly unfair and also maligns the sacredness of this holy day. Please don't allow that to happen.

Yule is not a scent. Yule is a holiday that predates the christian celebration of christmas. No one has the right to trademark a holiday.

Yule is the name of pagans and wiccans christmas celebrations to only allow a scent company to use it and only use it would be like anoucing to the world they need to find a new word for christmas cards, christmas carols, christmas trees and christmas cake because the word christmas now belonged to a scent company. We have the yule tree, the yule log, yule cards, yule songs. Yule is a day of celebration it is the birth of our sun God and the time of year the Holy King returns to the under world. It is a word that is for everyone to celebrate and use. Not just a scent.

Yule belongs to no one. The word, feeling, season, holiday belongs to the world. Putting a trademark on it is obsurd, selfish, greedy, and just plain ridiculous. That's like trademarking Halloween, New Year's, Christmas, or Selfie. It's stupid.
