i am so disgusted with application how on earth can you put a children home in an area where decent people are trying to bring up they kids in a safe environment away from those area's of nottingham where these troubled kids are living not going to happen here on way

This is not the right location for a children's home. There is nothing in the immediate vicinity for the children to do (I have children in that age group). Also, it's easy to abscond, being very close to motorway links and a regular bus route in both directions. This would bring a lot of police activity to the road. A further concern would be the increased movement of traffic directly onto a mini roundabout.

My children attend the Horsendale school and also play around the area with their friends! It's a lovely neighbourhood and I fear it may bring crime and other problems into the area.

Idiotic choice of location. No facilities in the are for children of this age. Nearest school a bus ride away.

clearly the has been no research done why would you put what is potentially going to be a mini prison at the entrance/exit to a respectable estate and put the local children at risk when going to and from the bus stop to school these people need to start respecting the residents more

I saw this quote from a recent news article regarding similar proposals and homes in the Northampton area which surely speaks for itself, "Police were called to 200 incidents at G4S children's homes in Northamptonshire last year, officers say in a report raising concerns about a new home planned for Wellingborough. G4S has applied to the borough council to allow a home in Hatton Avenue to be used to house up to five girls and boys aged from 10 to 17 with two carers"

Disgusted! This will bring a constant stream of thugs, thieves, sexual predator and drug dealers to our beautiful, highly sought after area. Our children will not be safe on our main route in and out of the estate. Our valuables will no longer be safe and our houses devalued through no fault of our own!

There aren't any facilities in the area for children aged 10 - 17 yrs, so does that mean that they will be hanging around the streets?

I am very concerned that there will be a rise in anti-social behaviour both from children residing there and from others coming into area, in addition, it could also be a magnet for sexual predators, thus blighting the lives of all the nearby residents.

I am concern that if the home is poorly run what happens when problems arise. Does the home close or are the problems ignored.
