I oppose the new ordinance, as I believe it is counter productive to business expansion in Pocatello.

This is terrible move for a city trying to attract new business and/or keep the established business around!

I am absolutely 100% against this! It seems to me like a solution to a non-existent problem. The is will be devastating to small and new businesses! Judging from the comments, I'd say most business people know this is a BAD idea!

This is a huge overstep and micromanagement of businesses. This will also be a cost to businesses that would have to change signage. This is also a security issue. If buildings cannot have adequate lighting at night, this will give others the opportunity to break in unseen because of the lack of lights. I also feel like this is a safety hazard for our police force. More lighting keeps them safer too!

The goal should be to grow existing business and attract new businesses. This is an obnoxious overreach.

So much for small government?! This is overreaching and interfering with business owner's decisions. These signs provide needed light for nighttime safety.

This code is capricious and anti-business.

I strongly oppose the new ordinance and feel more research and feedback is necessary. How are you going to police all these stringent guidelines you are proposing? Seems like a huge overreach and will negatively impact the voice of local businesses and future economic development.

Too much gov overreach of business and citizens is never a good thing. This is a slippery slope.

This new sign ordinance is bad for business, and bad for Pocatello.

I oppose the curfew & moratorium on new billboards in Pocatello as I believe this negatively impacts businesses. Local businesses need billboards to advertise and to draw in customers in a time where they need as much help as they can get in the economic times.

This is, in my opinion, so detrimental to our local businesses! We work so hard to attract businesses, and now your guys want to make that job more difficult for NO reason! Is this an issue?? I have not spoken to one person who thinks this is a good idea.

I find it comforting to see the lights at night when I'm driving down Yellowstone.

No curfews that makes it harder on the business owners more rules when this is simply not needed.
