As a visitor to Falmouth, I urge you to deny the proposed Marriott. Town after town sacrifice their soul for new development and end up mediocre. Keep the smell and the feel of your town. Don't let Mariott overpower Falmouth.

This is Not A Beneficial Redevelopment Project for Falmouth and will Negatively Impact the Business and Residential Communities of Our Town if it is Allowed to proceed. The Building Size is way too big for Main St. and will cause traffic gridlock on an already overburdened main road. It does not conform to the intent of the Business Redevelopment District, will negatively impact the surrounding Residential Neighborhoods and has No Respect for our Community Character.

The spiritual home of America The Beautiful is on the brink of becoming the last charming village on Cape Cod. As we've seen in other communities, it's the easiest thing to do to say yes to everything, and that's already started happening around here. Almost nobody likes the results, but there's no going back. This thing would be so over the top as to force us down that slippery slope. Everybody realizes this and it's now high time to stand up and show that some of us still care about the future of our beloved community. I have nothing against the Marriott family and I wish them well, but this particular location is totally wrong. I'd rather dredge the harbor for cruise ships from sea to shining sea.

This Project will Negatively affect the Falmouth Community as a Whole and has no regard for our Community Character. The Immense Size of the Multiple Buildings with Bridge & Parking Garage, Extreme lot coverage of Structures with lack of Appropriate Buffering and Green Space, the Inappropriate Siting with Accessory Uses that will span both Sides of our Main St. affecting Traffic Patterns, The Loss of Residential Property Values in adjacent neighborhoods , and the Developer's Total Disregard of mass public comment and outcry to modify this plan are just a few of the many reasons that this project should be denied. Our Town needs to be protected from Negative Developmental Expansion or what we have grown to love about Falmouth will just fade as a memory.

A hotel of this size does not fit the character of this quaint town of Falmouth. We moved here as a full time resident 5 years ago because we liked the what we saw when we visited. Please do not approve this monstrosity of a hotel to be built.

To take someone's neighborhood away and build an ugly, unsuitable building on Falmouth's main street is not a solution. It's another disaster like the tire store, Please maintain the authentic character of this remarkable and thus far, well preserved town.
