Falmouth must avoid this kind of construction if it wants to keep its character as a charming New England village with friendly Local Businesses. Tourists don't want a big chain hotel!!

Please take into account the will of the PEOPLE who live in Falmouth. The Falmouth Inn is an eyesore and would make a far superior alternate location for this project. By the way, that property is FOR SALE!

keep the picturesque charm and New England character of Falmouth Village Center. A hotel would destroy what we all love about the area around Main Street, Falmouth. If Falmouth needs a hotel find another area outside this small business and residential part of town.

The Springhill Suites By Marriott project proposed to be built in Falmouth is inappropriate for the designated location. A better location nearby is the site of the Nimrod establishment.

This project enhances only the income of the developers. It does nothing for the town despite probable claims of increased tax revenue and jobs.The traffic and safety costs will more than offset any advantages and it is entirely out of keeping with the sometimes funky architecture of this town. This belongs on a large plot of land with a swimming pool and other sports amenities ,not in an intown village location.

Way too big to be appropriate for Falmouth! Once you allow a hotel of this size to be built in town, it becomes the beginning of the end. It becomes the beginning of a new look as a large, faceless town and opens the flood gates to proposals of other large projects. It is the end of what gives Falmouth it's own special, hometown identity.
