The hotel in this location would be a disaster and at the very least a traffic nightmare. I strongly oppose it.

PLEASE do not allow the Springhill Suites by Marriott to build at 556 Main Street. Anyone driving down Main Street will know this is an incredibly poor location for such a building / business.

Too big. Put it on Rt. 151 at the 'Olympic Village", not in quaint down-town Falmuth.

Isn't Falmouth Village all about maintaining their close knit ties to each local merchant, the natives if you will. The Falmouth village association charter is to ensure the VIllage stays quant, close knit, unity, FAMILY. Building a giant lifeless hotel is not part of the Village future. Why sou anyone come to vacation here with a hotel just like any other beach town. It's the friendly merchants, the closeness of the community, the feel of Falmouth with our B&B's, small quant motels and all the homes for beach rentals. Nothing screams, DO NOT COME TO FALMOUTH,like a lifeless anywhere hotel.

This is Far too Large for this site. This project does not conform with EITHER the Local Comprehensive Plan, The Cape Cod Commission HPCC (several paragraphs), and the Business redevelopment Zoning bylaw

Placing this hotel in a quiet residential neighborhood is even dumber than placing industrial sized wind turbines in people's backyards. Falmouth does not need additional downtown traffic in the summer. Please follow the established zoning, and the comprehensive planning bylaw and reject this development. Please do not allow corporate greed to ruin the character of our wonderful village.

The duplicitous 'divide and conquer' tactics used by Marriott's representatives to advance their own business interests, not Falmouth's, should raise a warning and compel Cape Cod's leadership to turn down this project.

We do need a hotel in town, if the owner of The Falmouth Inn wants to sell, why can't Marriott buy that and build their hotel there. Perfect spot! Stop trying to make Falmouth into another Hyannis!

It's hugely intrusive and would be an enormous mistake to allow this hotel to be built. Do the right thing, gain control of our town and DENY this project and trickster Marriott mentality. Falmouth is awesome .. keep it that way ... do not let some outsiders destroy it right under our noses!

Falmouth is one of the very few towns/villages left on Cape Cod which reflect the history of the past, the quiet feel of a small town, and friendly citizens. Mr. Blum, a surreptitious and cagey associate of the Marriott Corp., appears to oiling his way across the floor to sneak a deal across the table to satisfy his ego. Too bad for all of us, and our seasonal visitors, if Mr. Blum succeeds in pulling the wool over the eyes and pockets of local govt. The Hotel is a good idea - just not on Main street or Lantern lane!

I have always enjoyed visiting Falmouth every year for many years. The main attraction to this lovely town is its quaintness, a BIG hotel will definitely NOT be an asset. Let's not forget what it will do to the traffic. Please vote NO and keep Falmouth just as it is, PERFECT.

The size of this hotel is inappropriate for our town. Yes, we could use a much smaller hotel in the town, but not in this area of Main Street. How much more can our small roads handle? We are losing the quaint town feel many people come here for and we will never get it back again.
