The proposed hotel is way out of proportion with the surrounding neighborhood. Also, for anyone who travels though that area, they know how bad the traffic already us without the addition of many additional vehicles.

Totally inappropriate for Main Street, unnecessary additional rooms, traffic problems, to say nothing of the absentee landlords who see nothing but business opportunity.

This is not what I, or other Town Meeting members, voted for when we approved the Business Redevelopment Bylaw.

We moved to Falmouth because of it's hometown feel. I believe that a Marriott on Main St. would be a detriment to that area.

I oppose the Marriott because of the mass of the building and the amount of traffic.

This project is not at all in keeping with the growth of business down our Main Street. Yes we need more hotel/motel rooms but not shoehorned in such a small space nor spread across the street. We have zoning laws. Let's enforce them

This area is directly across from the Royal Nursing Home, an eyesore that lacks character and design, has roughly the same foot print, and lacks corporate policies in regards to upkeep and appearance.
There is a lot of emotion, but little facts by most on here. We need more rooms, not a conversion of existing rooms.

This project is bad for the community and bad for the town as a whole. Please help the citizens of this town by respecting their wises and rejecting the Marriott Proposal.

I believe this structure would have a very negative impact on our town. By over developing Falmouth, we will destroy the reason we live here.
