Oppose the conversion of 1140 W Wilson Ave for Cornerstone's expansion

Very opposed to this in our neighborhood!

We have a disportioncate amount of shelters in this ward, and on that block. I oppose this experiment.

This will be a dangerous situation that isn’t needed in that area.

We should be focused on building up Wilson and bringing more business to the neighborhood! Other neighborhoods should do their part, we have so many shelters already.

I vote no to this shelter being placed on Wilson.

Not a good plan

This location seems uniquely bad for a small business/retail strip that has finally started to stabilize after COVID. I urge that this be given more time and reconsidered.

We have *enough* homeless shelters!

Please consider expanding current shelter establishments. A shelter above a bar seems grossly misplaced.

That area was just getting better! I felt safe going to 2bears tavern and other businesses in the area, but this would absolutely change that for good.

Uptown does not always need to be the trial and error neighborhood for these projects. Please think about the businesses that I trying to grow in this area, even in this same building.

I oppose moving forward until we have greater clarity on the proposal and it’s potential impact to the neighborhood (affected businesses, etc.).

I live in the area and often frequent 2Bears, and I would unlikely not go after dark knowing there was a shelter above with no curfew or any real security

I get that we need to help the poor and homeless but why uptown, again? What can't you build somewhere other than this neighborhood?

Highly oppose this “experiment”!

I am deeply concerned. We have joyfully watched the revitalization of our neighborhood as residents who live on Malden Street. We are frequent visitors to the businesses that would be harmed by this experiment, and a shelter will absolutely affect business as usual. We are also proud homeowners that have witnessed the shift values over the last several years. With shelters already in place in our neighborhood, an additional shelter specifically in that area, causes major concerns for existing residents and community members. No no no
