We, the undersigned, are totally opposed to the threatened closure of the Post Office in Long Lawford and the planned redundancies of the present staff. We demand that:

1. The Post Office and the Co-operative society reconsider the decision to close Post Office facilities in Long Lawford
2. Notices of redundancy are withdrawn pending further consultation
3. We call for the continuation of Post Office facilities in Long Lawford and other areas in Rugby where closure is threatened, and for no Post office workers to be made redundant as a result of such closure plans
