As a resident of East Belmont who recently moved here, this is extremely unfair and would impact our living conditions.

Distribute housing on both east and west sides of El Camino Real. If it’s required by the state, make it a fair plan for all of our cities population.

New Housing should be spread equally in Belmont, not just east Belmont. It should include west Belmont in the Housing Element plan.

Please don't develop large apartment complex at 580 Masonic or at the corner of Marine View and Old County and the corner of Mountain View and Old County. How do you expect 500+ homeowners to get home when you are choking traffic at all the main entrances with 5-6 story apartment buildings?

Distribute housing in both sides east and west of ECR if it’s required

We’ve lived in the Sterling Downs neighborhood for 15 years and believe the proposed housing needs to be spread throughout Belmont.

Distributing new housing over a larger area solves a lot of issues.

Not necessary to add housing in East Belmont.

In my opinion there is not enough open space for so much more housing in eastern Belmont

Our business is located across the street from the new Artisan Crossing project on Old County where our city has allowed the developer to build 250 units all with just one parking space. When asked where the residences will park their other cars, no one had any idea of what I was talking about.

Both my husband, Freddie Fullon Sr. & I oppose the expansion to just eastern Belmont and should be divided to all of Belmont for equal distribution!

Strongly opposed to this as it shows no concern for issues current Belmont residents are facing - this will only make things worse! No more housing without first increasing capacity of schools and infrastructure and any increase should be spread around the city. While I support increasing density to meet need, this should not come at the expense of residents who have chosen a low-density, single-family property neighborhood/community.
