Please stop destroying the great character of the neighborhood around UM. This would be the equivalent of putting the Port Authority right outside the Metropolitan Art Museum. Keep some beauty around the school, for goodness sakes.

U of M, please honor the agreement made by your former president in 2003. There is plenty of land surrounding the campus to build smaller clusters of dorms.

I lived at 3658 Central during the summer of 1971 and from 1980 until January of 1986. The proposed development will definitely do permanent damage to the integrity and character of the neighborhood. Unfortunate!

Seems like there is plenty of inexpensive land/strip mall opportunities to the South of the Campus - that might even help with further revitalization along that road.

agreement in 2003 on behalf of the U of M with the City of Memphis and Neighborhood Associations was not binding because it was beyond her authority is hogwash and he knows better. Beware, this man cannot be trusted.
