Fight for us! It’s ridiculous the the wealthy and privilege get everything while us Blue collar residents get nothing and have to pay everything. They have the money they can afford it. In fact they should make sure there’s fair housing for all!

With inflation at current levels and the housing market, along with mortgages and rent, at all-time highs, I can not fathom this planned development having ANY tax breaks. First off, this type of luxury development is not really what Austin needs; there is enough "luxury" already; there is likely little to be said in the sustainability aspects of such a development; with our record heat and soon enough, record cold and the strain this will (and currently is) putting on the grid, such a development is 180 degrees from where we should be heading. We need affordable housing, not luxury office and retail spaces. This is a tremendous waste of money and future resources and is a move completely without merit. (This opinion from an Austin resident of 40-plus years). Please reconsider the viability of this development and especially the taxing structure. Thank you.

$278 Million of Austin Taxpayer Money would be a HUGE WASTE on the SCWF development! Let the Mayor spend his money for SCWF and his other wasteful city projects!!

They should charge them the contractors a large city and street and infrastructure tax. We don’t have room for the people we have now and they keep building in our low income areas also and putting more people on the streets to be homeless.

I don't believe this scale of development is legal in the Town Lake Corridor Plan area and I do not think that public burdens should underwrite increases in allowable development.

Also these companies provide such low wages that employees have to find living spaces outside the city. High rents are driving teachers out of town as well

It's extremely offensive to consider giving away millions of tax dollars to develop centrally located public spaces for affluent individuals and businesses (who are likely being offered no/low tax deals to relocate here on top of it) when I don't even have a side walk in my neighborhood, yet the city raises my property taxes to their max allowed amount every year. Stop coddling the wealthy, can they pick up their own damn checks.
