If someone wants to move or build here, they're welcome. But paying them so we lose tax money and the burden gets shouldered by the everyday homeowners is ridiculous.

The City Council and senior staff have forgotten whom they work for. The taxpaying citizens are nothing more than a paycheck to them. The infrastructure in the central city is crumbling, but there is always enough money for sweetheart deals with developers. Vote them ALL out!

The city needs to stop this immediately!! Developers have the financial resources to pay for the infrastructure necessary to support their development and mitigate the impact on their neighbors.

What do the citizens get for the $278 million? It might be justified if the developers provide sufficient waterfront parkland and affordable housing.

City support for developers is close to complete. Stop this now. Stop 90ft buildings in neighborhoods. Stop enlargement of street ROW in neighborhoods.

Do not raise our taxes so that you can give the money to private developers to build a private development. IF they want to build it, then they must pay for it themselves. If we give them the money, then after they build it, they will start making profit, of which the taxpayers will never see a penny. Why would you do something so stupid with our tax money? Somebody involved must be getting kickbacks, or something else is going on under the table.

Please show your tax paying Austin residents (constituents) that we matter more than a prospective high-dollar development that will only serve a relative few - and most of them won’t be Austinites! We have all invested in Austin. Now please invest in us.

Developers should pay for parks. Streets, etc, not taxpayers. This is standard in most developments today. Our taxes are already exorbitant. Take that money and find really get the homeless into housing, not the current cosmetic effort which isn’t wirking

Austin doesn't need a second downtown luxury development! We need to make sure all of our citizens have access to affordable housing, quality healthcare, and education!

Stop giving tax payer monies for special interests lis this Central Waterfront Development. Provide for city services like water that does not have to be boiled and better roads.
