This is possibly the stinkiest deal the city has contemplated. The City already made a bad mistake, admitted shortly afterward, giving away a bunch of tax dollars to Endeavor for retail stores in the Domain. You're making us little guys think that city government is a tool for Endeavor and other big developers to exploit our city and escape paying taxes while they do it. Stop it!

Do Not... PLEASSEEE, DO NOT grant these massive tax subsidies to the SCWF developers. They DO NOT need them and the people of Austin do NEED these funds for homeless housing, affordable housing, and community spaces, such as parks and libraries.

That is crazy that our City leaders would subsidize this build. If they can afford to build there, another developer will! How much money do these developers want? I want the developers to bay for whatever infrastructure is needed, not my tax monies.

I've lived in Central Austin for 75 years and I pay a truly exorbitant amount of Austin Property Taxes, even with my age exemption! I am definitely opposed to having ANY of my property taxes used to further any private developments!!

If anybody needs a tax break, it is the Austin taxpayer and not Endeavor! Growth must start paying its own way!

Companies should NOT receive millions in tax breaks or otherwise to locate in Austin. They will make a profit from whatever they offer by being a part of the city.

This provision is only to be used in underdeveloped areas where private investment is unlikely to happen anytime soon. This project is the opposite of that. The developers can easily pay for the infrastructure themselves.
