We are growing astronomically, have a strong economy and people attracted to the quality of healthy living. We need more public land for outdoor recreation, wildlife and relaxation. We don’t need more development or corporate welfare! Why doesn’t the city buy more land for citizens not corporations?

I am against using tax payer incentives. I could make a profit on that land and I bet Coxes can too and I’m not a developer!

I don't think taxpayer dollars are needed to fund infrastructure for this development. Austin is booming and they will make a healthy profit in that prime real estate area even if they pay for the infrastructure.

You should be using this tax money to Refund the Austin Police Dept. and to beef up the Austin Water system so we don't have to boil our water every year!!

North Austin seems to be the stepchild of Austin. We could use more green spaces and playgrounds, with benches that are both safe and nearby.

Considering the loss of waterfront access to residents of Southeast Austin, the swap should be rejected as having a terrible racist impact, in addition to being a corporate giveaway.

Really? Developers don't need a tax break. Taxpayers do. Developers are going to get their money by charging high prices to their customers. Why should the taxpayer have to subsidize this? STOP GIVING MY MONEY AWAY TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T NEED IT!

Tax dollars should be used for parks, pools, trails and other amenities that benefit the taxpayers of Austin. The proposed development is designed to benefit developers at taxpayers expense. That’s just wrong.

Fund the food bank, our libraries and fix our roads. This is giving money to the rich who do not need it to develop this site.

It's time to put our tax dollars towards making Austin AFFORDABLE for average working people. There are plenty of luxury homes going up so the rich have their share. The rich certainly don't need to be subsidized.

If this is truly a viable development, then there is NO NEED to use tax dollars. If it is not, then it will be a waste of our tax dollars. Of course wasting tax dollars is something the City of Austin is quite good at doing.
