Oh good grief! Why should I pay these people to make money at the expense of the city I love? And probably trash the environment and the overall quality of life that make this a great place to live, into the bargain! No! Heck, no!

I am deeply opposed to giving SCWF any tax subsidies. I firmly opposed the creation of a TIRZ. Please REJECT the SCWF TIRZ.

This property is currently appraised at under $4M/acre and the 64,000sf building is appraised at about $1,000. Guess what that means? More burden on residents when commercial properties don't pay tax on market value. So if CoA wants more tax they should protest the valuations.

Private developers and big businesses do not need this help. Small businesses in Austin have had to close in record numbers. Use the money to invest in the people who are actually struggling.

I am against tax giveaways to for-profit companies who could make sufficient profit without them. And if they can't make that profit, maybe the project is not advisable as currently planned. I am for affordable housing by non-profit organizations.
