the council has lost it's mind.... they are in the pocket of thee real estate industry

Why should we allow this development which, as far as I can tell, allows for NO affordable housing when this city council wants to destroy existing neighborhoods to add density and affordable housing. I whole heartedly sign this petition.

As a 30-year resident of the fringes of Travis Heights, I heartily oppose the city's giving away money that should be available for more reasonably priced housing and to the institutions that have made life pleasant for the fine people who have been here for decades.

Absolutely disgusting. We should be focused on AFFORDABLE HOUSING not luxury developments!!!!!!!!!

City of Austin needs to stop this crap! Stop making our city too expensive to live, while giving all the tax breaks to rich corporations

The location doesn't need any assistance from the property taxes of homeowners to subsidize developers on prime land. Even with light rail, the area will still have low-speed transit in and out compared to the Domain and it will remain very expensive for renters. More of the office development should be along the Highland-Domain-Lakeline commuter rail corridor giving workers more choices on where to live.

Please dont give the tax break

When you consider how many billions that have been spent on downtown, it time to put mental health at the top of the agendga. When to developers the lake with a sensitivity that does not result in the canyon like effect that limits public access

This town has to stop incentivizing large corporations over their constituents. Business is a good thing to promote but not at the cost of people. People matter.

Np tax dollars for private developers. If they can't afford to pay for what they plan, don't build it.

All neighborhoods and homeowners should fight this tooth and nail….the City continues to ruin what attracts people here in the first place.

I am so tired of the council giving away the city. Developers want to be here and they should pay their own way. We no longer have affordable housing. Developers are pushing out those who have lived here for the past 40 years and some for generations because they can no longer afford it. They are changing Austin from a great place to live, to a place for the rich to live.

I am opposed to using our public tax dollars to subsidize the South Central Waterfront private development.

High property taxes are making Austin more and more unaffordable for regular working folks, and yet the city is giving money away to wealthy developers who were going to build here anyway????

I want my tax dollars to go to schools, libraries, parks, and services. How can the city council give so much away to developers? They are making $ hand over fist. And what happened to affordable housing? The density issue has become a joke -- I have yet to see a new development in 78704 that is affordable, and yet that is the justification for density. It's just out of hand.

Please don't subsidize this development! & please find a better developer!
