I am disgusted. City council could creatively find ways to help long time home owners and signal their belief in a city that has been thriving before the influx of new developers, new residents and new businesses in the past 5 years.

Why are you giving tax concessions to these waterfront homeowners, when the rest of Austin suffers from rising taxes? Could it have something to do with donations to your reelection efforts?

Stop wasting tax payer dollars on frivolous expenditures. Invest in a 2nd and 3rd Arch shelter for homeless people. Invest in return to work programs. Do something that will help the most vulnerable members of our society.
