The Texas Property Tax Collection is no longer working fairly. The tax appraisal system needs to overhauled. The amount due should be determined in the beginning of the year not the end of the year.

Stop giving away my taxes to undeserving developers. I'm retired and it's a stretch to pay my property taxes at year end. Our taxes are already way, too, high

We do not need another high rise or luxury development which will price out most of the workers and families in Austin.

The City needs to step back and remember who they work for. They do not work for billionaire builders. The city council makes really bad decisions and seems to never know where the money goes.

Privately owned properties of ANY types should not be subsidized by hard-working citizens. At most, they could receive loans to be repaid with interest within a specified, short number of years.
