Long-term residence will not be able to stay in their houses any longer because they can not afford to pay the exorbitant property taxes. And our City Council is set to give away $278 million of our tax dollars to greedy developers??

Corporations and developers don’t need tax breaks when they are profiting off our city and labor. Residential property owners deserve the tax breaks.

Our tax dollars are already skimmed for Robinhood, we need the rest to support public safety and our homeless population among countless other community budget items.

It is appalling that residential owners subsidize developers and the big tech ala Elon Musk and Amazon. They want to be here in Austin/Central Texas but want freebies to do so. Then Tesla offers $12.00 an hour jobs. That is not what Austin needs or wants.

This project will make a lot of money for the developers, and they should be paying their fair share of taxes without this subsidy.

We that were born and raised in Austin can barely afford to live here!!! It’s sad that the city of Austin and the “City Council” allow all these people from California come here and drive up the housing market let’s not forget about Amazon and Tesla who are building all of these massive buildings and NOT paying taxes! It’s really sad

Can’t get lifeguards for our community pools & my taxes last year 14k a year but you give tax breaks to developers????????

Do not give our tax dollars to the rich. I'd prefer helping poor people who are being forced from their homes onto the streets of Austin.

Austin is not struggling to get developers downtown! Please allow our tax money to benefit ALL public good, and not just our (already wealthy) developers!

If businesses want to do business here, they should pay their fair share in city and property taxes - end of discussion.
Tax subsidies to developers are unnecessary and harmful to local residents. I’ve lived here since 1963, own a home, and am a loud local voice.
