No more give aways to developers! Time to start helping austinites who live here rather than making it harder for them.

This money should go to legitimate uses in Travis County, property tax relief for home owners, not given away to the rich developer's pricing Austinites out of the Austin/Round Rock area. Build homes for Disabled Veterans and homeless people.

Gentrification of Austin.

This use of property tax dollars needs to be revisited and a better explanation of how this benefits the greater Austin Community.

Strange to be encouraging private luxury development when your stated priority is more affordable housing for Austin. Let's spend these $$$ "for the people" since this operation will be financed "by the people", thru our taxes.

My property assessment's new stated "market rate" is a criminal over-inflation based on how many people have MORE MONEY THAN ME - not how much I should fairly pay based on a percentage of my income or my home's purchase price, or its actual material value (size and condition, or original construction cost of $70k). Meanwhile salaries don't keep up with that inflation. People who work for the City barely make a living wage. Soon the Live Music Capital will have nobody left to play the music, make the tacos, clean up the beer, or mail out the tax bills. How can working-class people pay $10,000 or $15,000 a year in tax on a place to live??? Homestead owners should not pay more than 5% of their income for property tax. Fill in the gap with a Luxury Tax. Make those fancy churches pay property tax too.

Property values are way over priced right now.

The parties to this deal have more than sufficient funds and assets to pay for this deal. Hard working and overtaxed blue collar residents of the City of Austin should not be burdened with this. Please take the 278 million dollars in relief and tax breaks from these parties and apply it to property tax relief of NORMAL residents, to our local schools who are literally stolen from each year via a broken RECAPTURE program, etc.

I don’t own but have been personally affected by the housing situation. No middle class person can afford a home in Austin. How many Austinites have salaries to buy 650k home.

Been here 26 years and now my taxes are more than my mortgage ever was. Taxes are going to make me move from my family home and that is not right.

This is what happens when your mayor is a real estate lawyer.

NO more giving away to Private Developers, Take care of our people of Austin that pay your wages and Freeze our Taxes first. Save the money for libraries, parks, affordable housing, and other public needs. Thank you
