Oppose the Airline Ban on Transport of Legally Harvested Animals

Knee jerk reaction to a story blown out of proportion. Legally harvested animals contribute to conservation of wildlife habitat and is in no way to be confused with illegal poaching.

Please remove the trophy shipping ban from you airlines

I am in direct opposition to then recent airlinenbans to shipping legally hunted trophies !

A ban on shipping legally taken animals from Africa holds no merit as a way to protect wildlife. It will in fact have a negative effect on conservation efforts. This is nothing more than a political move to appease the ebb and flow of emotion from an ignorant minority.

I continue to be surprised at how many people and businessed are scared of the activist liberals and forget there are many more, law abiding citizens who don't appear in the media daily complaining about this and that. The death of a lion has received more attention than the death of a human being. I may only be one person, but I will vote with my wallet and do all I can to avoid any airline that supports the ban on the transport of legally harvested animals. I don't see airlines banning the transport of goods made in 3rd world countries where children work in unsafe conditions. Why did the airlines target this issue?

Stop all this political correctness crap and restore freedom.

Please reverse this decision. It will impact my future travel choices.

I will certainly not support an airline that makes prejudice decisions against a group of people simply because the airline is following another liberal left "politically correct" perception. What has happened to the our core beliefs of "America, home of the FREE and the BRAVE!"

This ban will definitely affect my choice of airline when I fly anywhere in the world.

Legally hunted animals should allowed to be transported.

I booked a flight to Edmonton to hunt in Canada before the ban. It will be my last on Delta if you continue this discrimination against hunters.

It is wrong to use transportation bans to leverage an agenda against legally and responsibly taken wildlife. Reverse the decision to ban.

Legal sport hunting provides ALL the monies and resources necessary to support African wildlife. As an example Kenya which closed hunting in 1977 has lost 70% of it's wildlife. Please reconsider this ill conceived ban.

It is unfortunate that the airlines that have imposed this embargo have succumbed to hysterical hyperbole by ill intentioned activists who care very little if any about the wildlife they feign to protect and more about stopping hunting at all costs. Unfortunately, it will be the animals as a whole that will suffer a more painful death and indiscriminate eradication by poachers for profit on the black market. For more insight into this cause effect relationship, research the scientific studies of the wholesale demise of all species of animals, especially elephants and lions, in Kenya following the total ban on sport hunting in the 1970's. Banning the shipment of legally hunted animals will do absolutely nothing to save the animals these self proclaimed animal rights activists purport to want to protect. Its all about banning hunting - period. Saving and protecting animals is of no consequence to these ill informed protagonists. It will be a sad day indeed if legal hunting is banned throughout Africa and the world.
