Oppose the Airline Ban on Transport of Legally Harvested Animals

Correct your improper stand on conservation. Hunter support wildlife more than anyone else.

Legal sport hunting provides crucial wildlife conservation dollars and reduces illegal poaching due to the value placed on the animals and presence of legal hunting operators in the field. This cannot be disputed!

I am flying Lufthansa to SA next year instead of Delta or SAA because of their politcally correct and cowardly position on this issue. I encourage all other African hunters to fly other airlines, as well.

Any ban, embargo, or other blind general measure incites illegal acivity. The road to hell is paved with the best of intentions.

This pandering and overreaction only hurts legal hunters, conservation efforts, and an industry that brings money and jobs to Africa.

We use your airline to travel for legal hunting and I advise you to help us bring our trophies home or we will find other airlines more friendly to hunters!

La derrama económica que este provee a las poblaciones más necesitadas es lo único que las detiene de ser parte del comercio ilegal de fauna llámalos furtivos, ó Poachers, estas poblaciones serán presa de la guerrilla, las drogas cualquier mercado del submundo. las aerolineas de territorios lejanos hacen grandes negocios con el trafico deportivo, as{i como cientos ó miles de empleos indirectos que esta fuente provee.

Sustainable use is a critical component of successful anti-poaching strategies. It allows an industry dependent on wildlife conservation to be developed in areas lacking the scenery, herd density, infrastructure and proximity to population centers necessary to make photographic safaris economically viable. The presence of this industry discourages poaching by both instilling economic value in healthy wildlife populations, creating jobs for rural residents and providing the capital for hunting outfitters to field anti-poaching units. The move by airlines to prohibit the transport of legally acquired hunting trophies undermines this industry and is counterproductive to wildlife conservation. Undermining this industry also serves to deny African nations the ability to decide for themselves how best to manage their natural resources and prevents African peoples from economically benefitting from those resources. This has the same impact as stealing them outright.
