Oppose the Airline Ban on Transport of Legally Harvested Animals

Stop this ban.. Sport hunting is WILDLIFE CONSERVATION

Conservation of wildlife is complex. Knee jerk reactions to uniformed public opinions are not helpful.

As a hunter and a traveler I ask you to stop this ban.The actions of a few law breakers should not give a reason to punish law abiding citizens of America.

Sport hunting is wildlife conservation.

Unjust discrimination against law abiding hunters.

End this ban!!

Remove the ban discriminating against recreational sport hunters who are not breaking the law.

Please end this ban. It is the hunters' dollars that support wildlife and communities in Africa. We pay for anti-poaching, provide jobs, furnish the meat to local communities, and help fund the National Parks in the countries we hunt.

I oppose the airlines imposing politically correct measures by not allowing the transportation of legally hunted trophy animals. Legally hunted animals promote wildlife and conservation, and the decision by these airlines doesn't make sense.

I have been to Africa several times and have seen first hand what positive impact hunter's dollars have on the locals. Our hunting provides much needed meat to locals and greatly reduces the need for them to indiscriminately set snares to trap anything to eat. These airlines made this decision based on PR not facts. The only way to get their attention is to not fly them until they see the error of their ways. I know Delta has a great flight from Atlanta to JoBurg but you can also go nonstop Houston to Istanbul then connect to JoBurg or east Africa with Turkish Airlines.

You are not helping the problem.

The types and numbers of animals killed by sport hunters should be determined by wildlife officials, not the news media. Airlines should transport whatever legal items their passengers desire,

I am signing this petition to signify that I am in direct opposition to the recent airline transportation ban on legally harvested animals. The decision to take a blanket approach to the transportation of these animals is an inappropriate response and incorrectly fails to distinguish between the trade and transportation of legally acquired wildlife specimens, and the illegal trade in wildlife specimens.

Dear Sirs: Please do not stop transporting legal trophies hunted. Legal Hunting provides a good income to some of the very poor African Countries. If legal sporting hunting disappears, many species will be condemned to disappear for ever. Thanks for your help and understanding.

Actions should be based on fact and science, however, the actions of the airlines were based on emotions and public outcry. Outcry by people who have no idea the positive impact hunters have on conservation (species and habitat) and communities.

We all need to use other airlines if they do not reverse their decision.

There should be no ban on legally harvested animals.

Disappointing to see a knee jerk reaction from professional corporations to please the screaming few who are very ill-informed!
